Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account. Email and password when you create an account (authentication is handled by our database provider). Saving a deal requires an account.
• Deals you save. Address, analysis inputs, optional rehab itemization, optional property photos, and a share slug for the report link.
• Property lookup. The address you type is sent to Google Places (autocomplete) and RentCast (records, value/rent estimates, taxes, comps) so we can auto-fill the wizard. We store the lookup payload with a saved deal.
• Funding leads. If you submit “Get funded,” we collect the name, email, phone, and message you provide, plus the deal you attached.
• Analytics. We use PostHog to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, core actions such as lookup, save, and lead submit). That typically uses cookies and localStorage. You can block cookies in your browser; the analyzer still works.

How we use it

To run the analyzer, save and share reports, email transactional notices, measure product usage, and — only if you ask — send a funding lead to lenders in the DealYields network. We do not sell personal information. We do not use your deals to train public models.

Who we share with

• Infrastructure vendors that host the app, database, auth, file storage, and email.
• RentCast and Google, for the lookups you initiate.
• PostHog, for analytics.
• Lenders in the DealYields network, when you submit a funding request — that is a lead, not a credit pull we perform and not an offer to lend.
• If required by law, or to protect the service and its users.

Retention, rights, children

We keep account and deal data while the account is active. Email hello@dealyields.com to access, correct, or delete your account and saved deals. California residents may also request the categories of personal information we collect; we do not sell it. The service is not directed at children under 18.

We use standard HTTPS in transit and provider-managed encryption at rest. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. This policy is not a SOC 2 (or similar) attestation.
